Since 2010 Timo Schnitt is professor for 3D animation at the University of Hannover where he had previously taught a variety of courses ranging from animation VFX to stereoscopy.
He studied communication design and worked at Ambient Entertainment, where he created various feature films and is currently engaged as VFX Technical Director. Simultaneously to his work, Schnitt participated in various advertising campaigns and short films as compositing TD and VFX supervisor. His expertise lies in the simulation of fluids. Additionally, he developed and optimised the compositing pipeline.
